What have you learnt About Technologies From The Process Of Constructing This Product?

During lesson i experimented with live type, in order to get titles onto our opening sequence, to make it look proffesional and to credit people with what they have done. For example the cast, directors and camera crew. Although i found it very difficult to work it at first, with help from fellow strudents and Mrs Jarret i was able to create titles effectively to be used on our opening sequence. Imovie was also hard to get used to, and this helped us to cut and change the length of our clips, we also added music onto this, and this made it easier to getcertain shots in sync with the music, like

~ During my time when making my opening sequence we also used the tripod, which we used effectively in many shots to enable the steadieness of the shot. Without the tripod we would have had to film everything free hand, which may have been difficult as there was movement in some of the shots, and the tripod allowed for smooth constant movement, whereas free hand would have been much harder to use.

Blogger has also been a main part of my media piece, as i have been able to do posts about
progress and analysing different thriller openings. The blog is also where i have posted all my
research, my planning and the preliminary task, which helped as it allowed for peers to
evaluate it and i could receive feedback on it.

The camera was used in the construction of our opening sequence however i did not get to use it, as i was acting in the majority of the shots. The camera was obviously our most important piece of technology as if we didn't have it, we would not have been able to create our opening.

We used the fig rig for our first shot, which enabled us to steady our shots and to perform effective tracking shots without having a wobbly camera. We really needed our first shot to be good, as this would be at the beginning of the film, and this would most probably determing whether people continue to watch our film or not.
